THE PROBLEM

Warrior Queen™ is looking to create a brand and presence online by selling t-shirts and other merchandise.

Warrior Queen™ is an upcoming online store and official website for a new t-shirt brand. The company’s creator and I wanted to create an elegant and bold yet simple experience for consumers but without a brand identity that can be quite impossible before planning and researching the market area.

THE USERS

Women consumers are very powerful in the market. They make up over 55% of online consumers.

According to Digital Media Solutions female consumers are much more loyal to a brand. So creating a brand that is mostly female focus and empowering can help Warrior Queen build up its brand.

RESEARCH QUESTIONS:

  • Tell me what you want from an apparel brand’s website?

  • Do you feel it’s important to support a black female-owned brand?

  • Do you connect more with a unisex design or feminine one for a woman-owned brand?

USER PERSONA

THE RESEARCH

Less is ALWAYS more…..

According to Expert Market minimalist design helps users and customers navigate through your site easily and also makes the page load faster. Which is a plus for attracting more customers.

“Consumers are more impatient than ever. When it comes to website loading speed, studies show it takes just one second of waiting for users to lose focus on a task, and just ten seconds for them to give up and leave the site entirely. This shows that reducing clutter can, ultimately, keep customers on your website for longer, because pages cluttered with elements will take longer to load.”

THE SOLUTION

A clean, feminine, and classic website design for an up-and-coming apparel line. I like the design and my client is also happy with it and feels it can bring consumers to her brand and company.
